Parenting from the Center
We have a full family, with full lives. There is constant interruption and steady challenge. We know we want to raise our children with love and patience and sometimes we are bone dry. We must foster our own spiritual connections while raising up parenting as a spiritual practice. We must also keep in our hearts that we are not parenting alone, there are many religious communities in the United States and living a faithful life in a church community makes all the difference in the world. We do not need to parent from the abyss, we can be connected to each other, to our religious traditions and to the spirit of life and love.
